hello and welcome to the animal crossing section. as far as nintendo switch goes, animal crossing in the only game that i have 100+ hours in. i played the most and finished the meuseum, shops, all houses, etc in 2020-2021, but as of november 2025 i started to miss the daytime tunes and friendly comments and gifts from my villagers
animal crossing new horizons is basically a friendship simulator and island design game with really nice graphics. my personal favorite aspect is the sheer amount of unique looking villagers and items. u can get super duper creative with design in this game and i love seeing how every player designs their islands. some people put a lot of effort into them, and have hundreds and hundres of hours. im currently spending loads of time cutesifying my island myself!!!
i have only played new horizons, but i would love to play all of the older games! particularly new leaf, since most seasoned players semm to say its the best or their favorite.
